GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE (GFE) HEALTHCARE ITEMS AND SERVICES UNDER THE NO SURPRISES ACT

The No Surprises Act, which went into effect January 1, 2022, requires healthcare providers to provide individuals who do not have health insurance, are not seeking to file a claim for services, or are paying out of pocket with a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

While it is difficult to predict the number of sessions you will ultimately need to reach your nutrition goals, we strive to be as transparent as possible about the cost of sessions during this process. Your Good Faith Estimate will be provided prior to your appointment and include a list of expected charges for the services to be provided.

For more information about the Good Faith Estimate or your rights under the No Surprises Act please visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
